Only One Chance to Make a First Impression

June 8th, 2009

Sometimes we just fall flat on our face or perhaps walk into a door, or metaphorically speaking just walk directly into your own metaphor, as the headlights beam, still frozen, tongue tied to the trackbacks… All of a sudden we find ourself in a Jerry Lewis kind of Nutty Professor routine, for real! First of all never drink and blog! Never, never, never… Ok. Secondly do not try to impress a lovely woman with nimble, efflorescent, and sparkling conversation… It is ok to be dull and keep it short because less chance of putting her to sleep the better. Stay on topic. Do not gush over with compliments. Always use your spell check… Twice! Also a good idea to check your site for broken links… Especially, after crashes and hacks… Don’t trust the backup to restore links and images. A lot of this is just tedium ad nauseam but it must be done. Also, if someone who you really like has a movie, be courteous enough to provide a review with a link of some sorts. Do not be a name dropper. If a friend introduced you to John Russo once on the set of “Santa Claws”, not a good idea include the fact into your conversation like you were in the day of “The Night of the Living Dead!”

This is what can happen to you… Yikes!!!!

(All the above should have just been left out blowing smoke does not work… Just stick to the focus of the comment) Should have just said…

“Now what is going on with GM seems an absolute perversity of economic justice… In that the ones who had held the company in their portfolio (the investors) along with those who sold the company’s products and created prosperity (the dealers) are all effectively wiped out, (shaken down, taken to the cleaners) while the ones who created these problems in the first place (Read The political interest in the DC K Street Wall Street connector) are left with controlling interest in 80% of the company while the American taxpayer foots the bill. It is simply insane. If anyone is simple enough to believe this is going to be a quick and painless bankruptcy I’ve got this bridge in Brooklyn, oops wait, hold on just one darn second… Make that I had this bridge (looks like those lousy rats just sold it… Again! :-)

Just kept trying to fix it and speaking of first impressions… I’m sure this is going to leave one… Certainly not the one anyone might care to remember fondly… Sorry Ms. Anderson. A bit obsessive compulsive ya think! At times it helps to maintain a sense of humor… Along with a pair of those rainbow colored Adidas circus shoes:-)

God Bless America! The Web vs. Cheney

May 22nd, 2009

Actually watching President Obama and former Vice-President Cheney today its hard to take any of this serous because if they were serious Cheney would be in chains and shackles on trial for war crimes (Not to mention for crimes against the Constitution and the people of the United of America and the world). Where he lied to the President and fabricated a story designed to march this country into war based nothing more than a half baked Yellow Cake story concocted in the basement of the Pentagon with the help of Rummy and friends… A recipe for failture that resulted in the death of thousands of American soldiers and the murder of countless innocent women and children at a cost to this nation’s precious blood, treasure and international reputation. There is no debate at the end of a rope… Meaning of “High Crimes and Misdemeanors”

Today, former Vice President Cheney continues his pro-torture public relations tour with a speech at the American Enterprise Institute. His listeners can expect to hear more arguments for the use of torture and abuse. What they won’t hear from Vice President Cheney is that national security experts overwhelmingly disagree with his assessment about the value of resorting to abusive policies. Those with experience conducting interrogations, leading forces in the military, and doing the work of keeping America safe overwhelming reject the use of torture.

Least we forget those that serve this country and are the first line placed in harms way deserve better.

Stumbled upon some insights by one psychic intuitive that really screams to be addressed.

What Is Dick Cheney Thinking? Peggy Rometo Speaks | wowOwow

wOw: Why is Dick Cheney spearheading a media campaign to sell his past policies to the American people?

Peggy Rometo: He thinks that it is his personal duty to protect America, and feels justified in defending his political point of view. The impulse to protect America is ingrained in him; it’s part of who he is. This mandate began during his time as secretary of defense under Bush No. 1 — and now, it’s become more than a position. It’s a core belief.

How about this one Peggy… He lied and fabricated the entire story. He is simply trying to cover his selfish ass and profit from the blood and treasure of the American people while he is still in the vanguard of advancing a form of corporate fascism while hell bent on destroying the Constitution of the United States of America. You better believe.

Obama and Cheney Face Off: Who Won?
Posted May 21, 2009

President Obama and former VP Dick Cheney delivered dueling speeches on national security this morning. In the president’s speech, Obama argued that transparency and upholding the rule of law are the only ways to fight terrorism effectively. Speaking shortly thereafter, Cheney argued that the Bush administration’s policies kept the United States safe after 9/11. Who won? Is Cheney right on national security? Or is Obama
? Who do you trust more to make the tough decisions on national security? Post your thoughts.
